Forum Get Ready

The Forum get ready is the last chance for students to prepare for their Forum. This year you will find:
1) a Workshop express CV corrections by TogetherAG
2) a Workshop “How to approach a stand?” by Academic Work
3) a Sophrology Workshop by L’Atelier de la voix
4) Professional photographs
All free entry

5) a Workshop “Improve your elevator pitch” by the EPFL Career Center

Conference - Cédric Waldburger (ENGL)

Tuesday 8th of October

Cédric Waldburger is a serial entrepreneur, investor and minimalist. He founded his first company at age 14 – a media agency called Mediasign. Since then, he invested in 10+ companies and founded 5 more spanning from fintech and eCommerce, to social networks and SaaS. He will surely inspire you with his story. This conference will take place at 15:30 – 17:30.

Conference - Friedrich Linhart (ENGL)

Tuesday 8th of October

The CEO of the start-up Linhart Intellectual Property will give a conference with as title :
“How to protect ideas – an entertaining introduction to intellectual property protection”.
He will answer questions such as: what steps can be taken to protect new ideas in order to use them exclusively, as a basis for the success of your company? Or how can you prevent others from stealing your ideas? This conference will take place at 14:30 – 15:30.

Meet all the companies attending the Forum EPFL 2019 on their stands at SwissTech Convention Center. Their representatives will gladly welcome you and inform you about their organisation and recruitment opportunities.

Since 2013, Forum EPFL offers to companies the opportunity to organise workshops in which they can meet students in a more interactive setting.

Examples : roundtables, presentation workshops, case studies, …

During stands days, companies can select students in our CV library. Those students will be invited to pass an interview directly on the Forum EPFL’s premises, in our Interview Rooms.
